2024 - 2025
Jiajing’s practice is recent research has focused on birds, exploring the coexistence between humans and nature, as well as human-to-human connections. She seek to examine how humans perceive and shape nature, and the underlying power structures embedded in these processes.
2023 - 2024
The construction process of the garden, as a model of artificial nature, is the result of a profound dialogue between human culture and the laws of nature. As a symbol of returning to nature and humanity, the garden has become an enclave in urban life, fulfilling people's lost and unrecoverable dream world. By interpreting the duality of the garden, it demonstrates a profound reflection between mankind and nature, ideal and reality, rationality and desire, and at the same time explores the subtle and complex relationship between the artist, the work and the viewer.
2021 - 2023
For a young person who has experienced death for the first time, Jiajing inevitably began to enter the stage of life that exploring death and accepting separation. Life and death is a common theme, as it is something that everyone will and must experiences. This project tells the story of her research on the life cycle and Buddhism, as well as the exploration of her own cultural roots, triggered by the death of her grandmother.
